The Alpha Course

The Alpha Course is an opportunity for members of the community to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening manner over ten, thought-provoking weekly sessions.

Two million people have done Alpha in the UK alone and eight million worldwide. The Course is open to everyone, especially:

(a) those wanting to investigate Christianity
(b) new Christians
(c) newcomers to Living Waters
(d) those wanting to brush up on the basics

The course starts with an introductory supper followed by a short talk.  After this, the course then progresses over 9 weeks. Each evening consists of: 
 

Supper - a free meal and a chance to get to know each other

Talk - a short presentation on dvd addressing the key issues of the Christian faith.

Small groups - a chance to listen, learn and discover - to ask questions and express opinions.

Our winter course is running on Tuesday evenings, beginning on Tuesday 4th March 2008.
