Connect Groups

The larger celebrations on Sundays are exciting, faith-building times. But we also firmly believe that to truly get to know people and grow together as community, it has to be done a lot smaller. That is why we encourage all committed members of the church to be part of a connect group, where genuine relationships can be made and no-one gets lost in the crowd.

We currently have four different connect groups and are looking to develop more. These groups are normally held in people's homes and get together on a bi-monthly basis. While there may be a spiritual focus, the event is social, an opportunity to join with other members of the church over a meal and a drink in an informal setting to develop  friendships.

We believe that the Christian life is a journey and one that has to be travelled with others. There is so much we can learn from each other. The connect groups allow people the opportunity to take down their masks and be real, as well as having lots of fun too. We also find that some people who are not used to church services may be more comfortable entering the social environment of a connect group at first, rather than the religious setting of a church building.
